OUR STORY
We came to the Yorkshire Dales in 2017 with the idea of creating a glamping site, having lived and worked around London for the past 20 years. With much work and imagination we finally have our planning permission, work is progressing and we open 24th May 2019.
Over the last year we have been welcoming visitors to stay at our holiday cottage on the farm West Shaw Cote Cottage, we've learned how to look after pigs and chickens, dug ourselves out when 'the beast from the east ' struck, raised a new born lamb by the aga and hatched chicks. All in all its been quite a journey and we're now looking forward to welcoming our first Glamping guests

pRIVATE wASHROOMS
We're really proud of our washroom and think that they set us apart from other glamping sites. Made especially for us by our friends at Castle Timber Buildings in Redmire, the first one to be delivered caused quite a stir as it travelled through Askrigg on the back of a trailer to our Farm.
Woodfired Hottub
Our woodfired LuvTub, was supplied by our friends at Naked Flame Hottubs. We don't add chemicals so your water will be changed every 2 days and at every changeover. The wood fired hottub heats in around an hour and half and will comfortably sit 2 adults and 2 children. All of our yurts have hot tubs and they are warmed ready for check in time. If you let us know when you'll be arriving we'll time the hottub heating so you'll be able to jump in when you're settled into your yurt
Indian FireBowl
Each of our yurts comes equipped with on Indian Fire bowl, complete with grill for outdoor cooking , there's even a special marshmallow toasting fork, so remember to pack some. We recommend that try out our local butchers in Hawes and Bainbridge, for fabulous burgers and sausages.
Woodfired Stove
At the end of a hard days exploring, snuggle up in front of the wood burning stove in your Yurt.
We supply a box of kiln dried hardwood, with kindling and eco firelighters in the yurt, we've found that this works best for the stove, hottub and firepit and we ask that you don't burn other materials in them. Our wood is sustainably sourced from Dalby Firewoods and is safe for use with the Indian firebowls. Additional bags can be purchased on request.
